    My Overview is where you can get an glimpse of my life; professionally, personally, educationally, and regarding my leisure time such as volunteering and spending time with my family. I work hard at my education so when I am at rest; I enjoy being around my family. Tony, Jacob and I love watching movies, TV, playing games, shopping, and playing with our "babies" (Spyder, Caddy, Layla, and Onyx). Time feels like it moves so fast when I do get a break and then I never really do get one. That is one of my goals when I am out of school and start my own business; is to have the vacation of my dreams with my loved ones....whatever that might be at that moment.

    
    

    I relax to all kinds of music, enjoy reading and sharing quotes and have a VAST array of both music and quotes on my computer (and everywhere else in the house Tony and Jacob will say). They are my relaxation techniques and in this day and age; don't we all need those?

    My Professional site is a place that I am just now trying to navigate. I always thought that this site is strictly for people who are working.

    
    

    Since I am disabled, a mom, and a full time student; I didn't think I fit the mold of this site. Then I sat down one day and realized that I may not get up and get dressed and drive to an office but I still have PLENTY of jobs and responsibilities none the less. So that is when I started filling out this profile site and it is still, what I like to call "production" but it is a great place to network.

  • Where my talents have evolved over the years!!

    My Work is a compilation of all of the presentations and documents I have produced so far. Everything I have learned on a computer from surfing the internet to these creations has all been on my own and by trial and error. I am proud of my work and will continue to volunteer my time to do such items for nonprofits. I enjoy using my creativity in this way and I also get the added benefit of helping organizations that are tight on budget. 

    
    

    The women and men I have met along the way by working on these projects just give me more and more inspiration to continue my education and start my own business doing internet marketing consults for organizations.

  • One of the things I LOVE doing!!

    My Videos is a site in which I always enjoying adding to. I don't get to add to it as much as I would like. It takes quite a while to make a video, edit it, crop it, enhance it, add music to it, and then publish it!!

    
    

    It will be part of my job after school but I LOVE doing it none the less, so it doesn't even feel like work..it is so much fun. I enjoy the challenge of it as I taught myself everything I know by trial and error just as in My Work section. I hope to add quite a few more videos as soon as life lifts up a little bit. Hopefully, that will be soon!! I have faith that it will happen soon!!

  • Keeping up with the Jones'

    • What's Hot and what is now is where I go when I want to make sure I get the very latest information about what is going on right now. I don't have a lot of spare time going to school, having a family, and doing as much volunteer work as possible. This is an easy place to get the facts short, sweet, and to the point as sometimes that is all I have the time for.

    I am a very visual person and Albums help me gather all of my favorite pictures into themes and folders to share with others.

    
    

    I enjoy sharing the photos with everyone and it makes me feel good when they appreciate and comment on my taste. This is one of my very favorite sites. I use this site a lot to unwind and de-stress from everyday life.

    
    

    It is a very unique site that, in my opinion, will quickly make anyone addicted to it. I found myself using it as a reward system. I tell myself, "Okay, get this errand ran or this cleaning done or this school work done and THEN you can play." 

    
    

    So far, it really hasn't worked. I am just too into the site and the beauty of it. It is a very simple site that is very easy to use and the symmetrical organization to it is very visually appealing to me. It is the kind of project I would love to work on.

  • This site I found by accident almost a year ago but it gave me a new definition of the word "VOLUNTEER".  Micro-Volunteer  is a site where I can go when I have some spare time and do little projects that vary greatly but gives me the satisfaction I get when I help someone or an organization out in whatever they need completed.

    
    

    There are some of the nonprofits that I have kept in contact with over all this time so it is a GREAT place to network as well. I enjoy meeting new people and having a variety of different projects going at one time and this is the perfect site for that. 

    
    

    Some of the volunteering takes 20 minutes and some take 20 hours. The great thing is that I get to browse and chose what fits my schedule but at the same time, I am helping someone out as well. It is a rewarding site; I just wish I could get on there more often. I would recommend it highly to busy people like myself who still want to find time to volunteer.

    Stories is a marvelous site I go to when I want to add something I feel passionate about to anyone looking for the same interests. The internet is such a HUGE place full of interesting and wondrous stories to read and people to meet and/or network with and this site just brings all of my many interests to me.

    
    

    It saves me the hours on end surfing the net for what I enjoy reading about and at the same time, allows me to pass along my favorites stories to others. Our lives are all so busy and full now-a-days, this site lets me quickly search what I have deemed as my interests and I can read about them without the countless hours of research.

    My Check-Ins is an awesome way for me to explore the new city we moved to last summer. We haven't had much time to go exploring and finding new and interesting places to go and eat, shop, or hang out. I am looking forward to my son being out of school this summer so we can spend some family time searching our new home 1500 miles away from VA in Lincoln, NE.

  • What is my influence on social sites?

    This site is in it's beta stages but so far, I will have to say that I am really enjoying watching my Social Influence grow and also inform me of where I need to be concentrating my efforts. The statistics and information is phenomenal and easy to interpret and understand. I hope it continues to grow and add more features to assist in my SEO. Right now, they only measure a few social sites; it would be great to see more sites added.

    There have been many studies about how people learn visually. I can remember in school how some other class mates weren't able to grasp concepts because back then; visually learning wasn't known of. I am so glad it is now
